Joanna Moss

Graveside services for Joanna Moss, 81, of Mesquite will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Thursday, March 13, 2014, at Rosewood Cemetery in Upshur County with Bro. Pete Dugger officiating under the direction of Croley Funeral Home in Gilmer.

Ms. Moss was born on July 21, 1932, in Gilmer, to Cliffton and Cicely Bevins Pool and passed away on Tuesday, March 11, 2014 in Mesquite. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist Faith.

Ms. Moss is survived by her son, Gene Langford of Lone Oak, Texas; daughter, Bettie Petri of Mesquite; sisters, Leona Newkirk of Richardson, Juanita Tyra of Garland and Rosa Ford of Rhonesboro; seven grandchildren, Tarenda Smith, Jason Langford, Kevin Langford, Alanna Dry, Jeffrye Smith, Robert Smith and Zachary Smith; five great grandchildren, Alyssa Dry, Kylie Dry, Blake Langford, Jourdyn Langford and Evan Langford and one great great grandchild, Masyn Langford.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Johnny Pool.
