Jo Edwards

Memorial service for Mrs. Jo Sandra Edwards, 74, of Longview will be held 1:00 P.M. Saturday, January 11, 2020 at Croley Funeral Home in Gilmer.

Mrs. Edwards was born on July 5, 1945, to Bill and Joyce Odom Jones in Dallas. She passed away on Wednesday, January 8, 2020 in Longview. Mrs. Edwards, also known by her family as Sandy, was a caregiver and CNA at a nursing home and a member of the Red Hat Society. She was an avid reader and enjoyed crocheting and playing Bingo. Sandy is loved by her family and will be greatly missed by many.

Mrs. Edwards is survived by her mother, Joyce Jones of Gilmer; son, Terry Minor of Jefferson; daughter Amy Lavender and husband John of Garland; brothers, R.L. Jones and wife Pam of Hillsboro and Chris Jones and wife Robin of Gilmer; sister Lisa DuPree and husband Frank of Gilmer; and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her father, Billy Jones; daughters, Mary Lynn Lavender and Lisa K. Acuna; and grandson, Jimmy DuPree.
