Jimmy Dale Cantrell

Memorial Services for Jimmy Dale Cantrell, 76, of Longview, Texas will be Sunday, September 30, 2018 at 2pm at 1st Baptist Church in Ore City, Texas with Pastor James Gray officiating. Jim went to be with his Lord and Savior on August 27, 2018 at his home.

Jim was born on June 21, 1942 near Redwater, Texas to Ben and Oda Mae Cantrell. He retired from GTE after 30 years of service. He was a
member of Grace and Truth Baptist Church in Lasseter, Texas. Our Pawpaw loved hunting, fishing, having a big garden and old westerns.

Jim is survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Marcia Cantrell; sons: Jimmy Shane Cantrell, Scotty Cantrell and his wife Janet, Jason Cantrell and his wife Tracy, Steven Duke and his wife Lauretta, and Stewart Duke; daughters: Leean Propes and her husband Dan, Kristi Caturano and her husband Joe; sisters: Sue O’Nale and her husband Richard, Shirley Nall and her husband Jimmy, Jeanette Lott and her husband Wade, and Kathy Kidder, brother: Johnny Cantrell; many grandchildren, great grandchildren, other family members and friends that will miss him dearly. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Patsy Seals and brother Allen Cantrell.
