Jimmie Frances McKinley

Jimmie Frances Warren McKinley, age 95, of Gladewater passed away peacefully on October 18, 2023, in Gladewater. Jimmie was born on March 26, 1928, in Winona to Jim T. Warren and Sarah Jewel Warren. Her father was a minister, and she spent her childhood traveling around the country ministering to those in need.

She was a longtime member of the First United Pentecostal Church of Gladewater, where she also served as the church secretary for fifty plus years. Jimmie also worked at the Gregg County Tax Office for 27 years. She loved to play piano, do word searches, and crocheting. Family and church were the most important things to her.

She was preceded in death by her parents Jim T. and Sarah Jewel Warren; sons, Gary Lee McKinley, and James Wayne McKinley; one brother, C.B. Warren; and one sister, Nancy Marrs.

Jimmie is survived by her son, Roger (Pudge) McKinley and Pam of Big Sandy, daughter, Melodi Stephenson and husband Eddie of Big Sandy, brother, Clayton Warren of Ohio, and two sisters, Velma George of Lewisville and Joyce Gentry of Arlington, 6 grandchildren, Brandon McKinley and wife Martha-Kell, Jon McKinley and wife Marcheta, Jarrod McKinley and wife Raquel, Emily Jones and husband Justin, Thomas Stephenson and wife Tiffany, and Matt McKinley, and eight great grandchildren.

Funeral services for Jimmie will be held at 10AM Saturday, October 21, 2023, at Croley Funeral Home in Gladewater. Burial will follow at Gladewater Memorial Park. The family will have a visitation on Friday, October 20, 2023, from 6PM to 8PM at Croley Funeral Home in Gladewater.
