Services for Mr. Jimmie E. Henry, 78 of Gilmer will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, February 9, 2013, at St. David"s Episcopal Church in Gilmer with Reverend Pat Young officiating. Visitation will be held from 1:00 P.M. until time of service at the church. Mr. Henry passed away on Wednesday, February 6, 2013 in Gilmer. The Committal service will be at 11:00 A.M., Monday February 11, 2013 at the Mausoleum Of The Episcopal Diocese Of Dallas in Flower Mound, Texas. He was born on August 20, 1934, in Gilmer, Texas to Irvin and Opal Tuel Henry. Mr. Henry served in the U. S. Army and was a Roads and Bridges contractor for Gillis Construction Company before his retirement. He was a member of St. David"s Episcopal Church. Mr. Henry is survived by his wife, Marynell Henry of Gilmer; sons, Chris Henry and wife, Maria of Houston, Jeff Henry and wife, Wanda of Burleson; stepdaughter, Teresa Sawyer and husband Steve of Garland; brother, Joe Henry; sister and brother-in-law, Donna Baber and husband, Jim David of Gilmer; five grandchildren, Kristen Henry, Alex Henry, Ty Sawyer Kelley, Cole Sawyer and Luke Sawyer; one great grandchild, Caleb Martin Sawyer; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
