Jim McBride DIANA �Graveside services for Jim McBride, 71, of Ore City will be at 2:00 P.M., Sunday, May 17, 2015 at Eagle Creek Cemetery in Harrison County with Reverend Gary Earle officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Grubbs-Loyd Funeral Home in Diana. He passed away on Friday, May 15, 2015 in Longview. Jim was born April 11, 1944 in Houston, Texas to James Thomas and Gertie L. McBride. He served in the U.S. Air Force and later worked for E.L. Farmer Trucking as Regional Operations Manager. Jim was of the Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by his father and one sister, Dot Hankins. Jim is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Judi Kinnison McBride, son: Jarrod McBride, mother: Gertie McBride, sister and brother-in-law: Sharon and Dennis Jones and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive visitors on Sunday, May 17, 2015 at Eagle Creek Cemetery, one hour prior to the service.
