Jim Martin Allen

Funeral service for Jim Martin Allen, 77, of Holly Lake Ranch will be 2:00 p.m., Sunday, September 27, 2015 at Holly Brook Baptist Church in Holly Lake Ranch with Reverend Brandon Bales officiating. Interment will be in the Holly Tree Cemetery in Holly Lake Ranch with the United States Air Force providing full military honors. Arrangements are under the direction of Croley Funeral Home in Hawkins. Mr. Allen passed away Wednesday, September 23, 2015 in Tyler. Mr. Allen was born April 7, 1938 in Dade City, FL to Eugene Martin and Katie V. Stokes Allen. He was retired from the United States Air Force after having served 20 years and 18 days. Mr. Allen enjoyed working as a referee with the UIL-TASO, Softball and Volleyball and the ASA Softball, he was a member of the Holly Brook Baptist Church. He is survived by sons, James Allen and Robert Allen; daughter, Diana Bales; 14 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Cody Davis, Garrett Allen, John Bales, Seth Allen, Michael Berrick and Brain Bales. Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Saturday, September 26, 2015 at Croley Funeral Home in Hawkins.
