Jesse R. Sorrells

Mr. Jesse R. Sorrells, age 64, of Gladewater, passed away on Saturday, September 29, 2018 at his home. A celebration of his life will be held at 3:00 PM on Saturday, October 6, 2018 at Church of Power in Pritchett, with Bro. Mark Huffines officiating.
Jesse was born in Gilmer on January 10, 1954, to the late James Norman Sorrells and Kathryn Fountain Sorrells. He was a member of the Church of Power in Pritchett .He worked as an auto mechanic for many years in East Texas before retiring. He enjoyed working on cars and spending time with his grandchildren and family.
He is survived by his loving wife, Barbara (Dunahoe) Sorrells of Gladewater; sons, Bradley Stanford and wife Norma of Woodville, Michael Stanford and wife Ginger Graf of Gladewater, Jesse Sorrells of Gladewater; brother, James Gorman Sorrells and wife Virginia of Houston; sister, Lily Helms of Gilmer, Kathryn Stanley and husband Dean of Provo, UT., Cynthia Fincher and husband Travis of Ore City, Gerri Sorrells of Gladewater; grandchildren, Micheal Lee Wayne Stanford, James Micheal Stanford, Jazmine Stanford, Annabell Stanford, Isabell Stanford, Gracilyn Sue Thompson, and numerous nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents.
