Jesse Leroy Sowers

No services are planned at this time for Jesse Leroy Sowers, 87, of Gilmer. Born on December 25, 1929, he entered into eternal rest on Thursday, April 20, 2017.

A veteran of the United States Army, he spent most of his life as a supervisor in the oil field.

He is mourned today by three sons, Darrel Kincaide, Jimmy Norris, Richard Norris; one daughter, Jessica Meek; sixteen grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert William Sowers and Arlene Mary Hindlighter Sowers; wife, Lavonia Sue Sowers; son, Delbert Gene; and grandson, Darrel Keith Kincaid.
