Services for Jeryl L. Monasco, 86, of Gilmer, will be 2 P.M. on Friday, January 23, 2015, at the Gilmer Church of the Nazarene with Reverend Jim Wolstenholm officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park. Jeryl was born on May 5, 1928, in Greenville, Texas, to Johnny L. and Florence Monasco. Mr. Monasco passed away Friday, January 16, in Gilmer. He was a retired commercial printer, having owned American Printing. Mr. Monasco was preceded in death by his wives, Delores Monasco and Gladys Downs; sons, Jeryl Wayne Monasco and Glen Ray Monasco; brother, Johnny Monasco; and sister, Sue Swaim. He is survived by two sons, Larry Monasco and Calvin Monasco; daughter and son-in-law: Oretha and Chuck Souder; brothers and sisters-in-law: Melton and Dean Monasco and Troy Gene and Betty Monasco; sister: Jo Hall; 11 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
