Jerry Don Pope

Graveside service for Mr. Jerry Don Pope, 78, of Winona, will be held 2:00 PM, Sunday, November 15, 2020 at Chilton Cemetery in Upshur County with Rev. Earl Brown officiating. Mr. Pope passed away Friday, November 13, 2020, at his residence.

Jerry was born March 5, 1942 in Gilmer to the late John and Novos Waller Pope. He was the maintenance office manager for TX DOT and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Winona.
He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Phyllis Ann Pope; sons, Jerry Don Pope, Jr and Terry Jon Pope; siblings; Martha Jean McCollum, John Allen Pope, and Joe Mack Pope; grandchildren, Brandon Pope and wife, Brittany, Daniel Pope and wife Jamie, Bethany Pope, Garrett Pope, Mark Pope, and Matthew Pope and wife, Taylor; and great grandchildren, Peyton, Caden, Seth, Jackson, Raelyn, and Colton Pope.
Jerry is preceded in death by his parents.
