Jeremy Coates

Services for Jeremy Chad Coates, 45, of Longview, Texas will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 11, 2017 at First Assembly of God in Gladewater, Texas with Brother Laney officiating. Also contributing to the service will be Joshua Coates and Kimberly Franks. Cremation and services are under the direction of Croley Funeral Home in Gladewater. Mr. Coates passed away on Saturday, January 7, 2016 in Longview, Texas.

Jeremy Chad Coates was born to Joe and Vicki Hillman Coates on September 26, 1971 in Little Rock, Arkansas. He was a skilled and creative welder. Jeremy married his sweetheart, Shannon Coates of Longview. Aside from welding, Jeremy was an avid hunter with an appreciation for guns. He loved his family above all and took pride in the things he accomplished.

Mr. Coates is survived by his wife, Shannon Coates; parents, children Kimberly Franks and husband, Clint of Oklahoma, Bridgette Coates of Longview, Kelbi Coates of Bogota; step children, Courtney Parmer and Dillon Parmer; sister, Jennifer Koehler and husband, Terry; grandchildren, Shyanna and Victoria Franks and Landon Camp; Nephews, Joshua Coates and Mark Koehler; grandmother Alice Dru Coates.
He was preced ed in death by grandparents: George Albert Hilllman, Sr., Walker Denton Coates, Lois Nell and John Conley; uncles, JR Hillman, Rick Hillman and Steve Hillman and cousin, Michael Hillman.
