Jerald David Walker

Funeral Services for Jerald David Walker, 77, of White Oak will be 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, December 19, 2018, at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel in Gladewater with the Reverends Ronald G. Witcher and Kyle Miller officiating. Interment will follow at Gladewater Memorial Park. Mr. Walker passed away Sunday, December 16, 2018 in White Oak. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Croley Funeral Home.

Mr. Walker was born July 3, 1941 in Fannin County, Texas to the late Jerald Bryant Walker and Ruth Walker. Jerald was a faithful member of Heartland Baptist Church. He was retired from DARR Equipment Holt Cat after more than 40 years where he worked as a supervisor. Jerald enjoyed fishing, watching NASCAR, sports of all types, traveling, wood working and cooking on his smoker. He was a loving and devoted son, brother, husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. Jerald will be remembered for his consistency, work ethic and unconditional love. He was always willing to help anyone in need. Jerald will be truly missed but never forgotten.

Jerald is survived by his three sons Tim Thomas of Seagoville, TX, Jimmy Don Thomas of Lexington, NE and Tommy Walker and wife Gillian of Benbrook, TX; daughter Misti Urban of Gladewater; sister Sarah Sims of Pittsburg; brother Jimmy Walker of Duncanville; 9 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren as well as numerous nieces, nephews and many other loving family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents and wife Charlene Maples Walker.
