Services for Jeffrey Whitfield Wade, 37, of Big Sandy will be held 2:00 P.M., Sunday, February 24, 2013, at Rosewood Baptist Church in Upshur County with Bro. Charles Johnson officiating. Burial will follow at Hopewell Cemetery under the direction of Croley Funeral Home in Gilmer. Mr. Wade passed away on Thursday, February 21, 2013 in Gilmer. He was born on June 6, 1975, in Tyler, Texas to James Whitfield Wade and Carolyn Saxon Wade. Jeffery graduated from Harmony High School in 1993 and was a lease operator for Shamrock. He is survived by his parents, Whit and Carol Wade of Rosewood; brother, Chad Wade and wife, Aracely of Rosewood; special niece, Kally Wade; 3 uncles, Joe, Timmy and Kevin Saxon; aunt Lena Green . Jeffrey was preceded in death by grandparents, Dee and Lottie Saxon, Cullis and Auleta Wade; and his friend Jared Stokes. Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 23, 2013, from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
