Jean Elwell

Funeral services for Jean Elwell, 88, will be held 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 25, 2013 at Croley Funeral Home Chapel with Larry W. Osborne officiating. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Croley Funeral Home of Gilmer. Mrs. Elwell passed away Friday, March 22, 2013 in a Dallas hospital. Mrs. Elwell was born August 7, 1924, in Celera, OK to Thomas and Maymie Diffy Barry. She was a homemaker and a member of the Methodist faith. She is survived by her husband, Truman Elwell of Dallas; son, Steve Elwell of Wylie; daughters; June Doigg of Dallas and Vickie Paschal and her husband Dick of McKinney; sister, Ginger Shea of Houston; granddaughters and their spouses, Angie and Greg Grimes, Allyson and Andrew Miles, Kristin and Christopher Srivarodom and Kerri and Dave Glover; great-grandchildren, Maddie Herr, Jack Srivarodom, Katherine Glover, Heidi Glover, Allison Grimes and Madison Grimes. Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Monday, March 25, 2013 at Croley Funeral Home in Gilmer.
