Services for Jason Alan Hixon, 39, of Gilmer will be held 11:00 A.M., Thursday, May 9, 2013 at the Gilmer Apostolic Church with Reverend Eddie Jones officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park under the direction of Croley Funeral Home in Gilmer. Jason passed away on Friday, May 3, 2013 in Gilmer. He was born March 13, 1974 in Lomita, California, to Alan R. and Claudette Sue Jones. Jason was a welder for Trinity Industries. He is survived by his son, Jaden Alan Hixon; daughter, Carly Rae Welch and brother, Joseph Ray Hixon. Jason was preceded in death by his parents. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, May 8 from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
