Jane Stacy Eubanks

Jane Stacy Eubanks of Diana, Texas, passed away peacefully on August 1, 2024, after a long and fulfilling life. Born on September 11, 1943, in Checotah, Oklahoma, she moved with her family to Texas in the summer of 1957. Jane spent the remainder of her life in Texas, where she married and raised her children.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Margaret Stacy, her husband, Ted Eubanks; three sisters, Jean Havner, Phyllis Villarreal, and Janet Prado; and her son-in-law, Carl Oliver. Jane is survived by her daughter Robyn Oliver of Diana, Texas, her daughter and son-in-law, Lisa and Steven Stegall of Price, Texas; and her sister Wanda Rosser of Diana, Texas. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Crysten and Hunter Millican, Courtney and Justin Verzosa, Caity and Weston Vogl, Lacy Brooke Deen, and Jake Stegall; five great-grandsons, Peyton Millican, Reid Verzosa, Ryder Verzosa, Judson Millican, and Cedar Vogl; and three great-granddaughters, Georgie Deen, Sadie Jane Millican, and Jasmine Vogl. Jane was an avid reader, a passionate family photographer, and a music lover, but she considered being a grandmother her most cherished role. Known affectionately as “Gran,” she took great joy in her land and the home she and Ted built together.

A member of the Church of Christ, Jane worshiped with the congregation in Gilmer, Texas. Jane wished to be remembered as someone who loved God, cherished her family, and expressed that love through her daily life.
