James Weldon Marchand

Funeral service for James Weldon Marchand, 76, of Gilmer will be 10:00 a.m., Friday, January 16, 2015, at Croley Funeral Home Chapel in Gilmer. Interment will follow at Judson Cemetery in Longview. Mr. Marchand passed away on Tuesday, January 13, 2015 in Longview. Visitation will be on Thursday, January, 15, 2015 at Croley Funeral Home. Mr. Marchand was born July 22, 1938, in Houston Texas, to Robert Joseph Marchand and Bonnie Faye Sparks Marchand. He served in the U. S. Navy and was a self-employed painter. Mr. Marchand is survived by his children, James Marchand Jr. and wife, Dana of South Carolina, Bonnie Jones of Ft. Worth, TX, Chris Marchand and wife, Crystal of Gilmer, TX., Candie Craver of Marshall, TX; brothers, Greg Marchand and wife, Tricia of Longview, Robert Marchand and wife, Kim of Dallas; thirteen grandchildren and five great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. Mr. Marchand was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Shirley Kelley Marchand and one brother.
