James David Robinson

James David Robinson, a dedicated Police Officer and a beloved member of the community, passed away on October 24, 2023. He was born on November 15, 1952, in Gadsden, Alabama to his parents James and Nodga Robinson.

From a young age, it was clear that James had a strong sense of duty. After completing high school, he joined the Army where he proudly served his country. His military service instilled in him the values of honor, integrity, and discipline which would guide him throughout his life.

Upon completing his military service, James pursued a career in law enforcement. He became a Police Officer and dedicated himself to keeping the peace in his community. 

Those left to cherish his memories are his siblings; Martha McDougal of Covington, GA, Gary Robinson of Ore City, Randy Robinson of Gilmer and Linda Robinson (Jennifer Hood) of Ft. Worth, children; Donnya Freestone (Jared) of Gilmer, Eric Robinson (Ashlee) of Seneca, SC, Jaimie Robinson (Dustin Huckabee) of Hot Springs, AR and Jennie Wix (Justin) of Carrollton, GA, grandchildren; Samantha Stone, Kaylee Stone, Ezra Robinson, Harlie Munyon, Leina Munyon, Zander Wix and Rowen Wix.

He was preceded in death by his parents; James and Barbara Robinson, mother; Nodga.
