James Michael Shannon

James Michael Shannon, 73, of Big Sandy was born on July 21, 1947 in Ft. Worth, Texas, to the late James and Evelyn Henderson Shannon and passed away on Thursday, January 14, 2021 at his home in Big Sandy. Mr. Shannon proudly served our country as an aircraft mechanic in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War. He was also the Executive Regional Service Manager for Chevrolet for over 30 years. James is survived by two sons, one brother, one sister, and six grandchildren.
Graveside service for Mr. Shannon will be held at Hoover Cemetery on Friday, January 22, 2021 at 2:00 PM under the direction of Croley Funeral Home in Gilmer.
