Funeral services for James Louis Kyle, 82, of Holly Lake Ranch Community will be 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 17, 2012, at Holly Tree Chapel in the Holly Ranch Lake Community with Pastor Tim Mink officiating. Interment will be in Holly Tree Cemetery Holly Lake Ranch Community. Arrangements are under the direction of Croley Funeral Home in Hawkins. Mr. Kyle passed away Monday, October 15, 2012 at his residence. Mr. Kyle was born January 6, 1930 in Normangee, Texas to Jimmie Lee and Nola Mae Hensarling Kyle. He was a retired health and beauty aid buy for Tom Thumb, a member of the Sam P. Cochran Masonic Lodge #1335 A.F. & A.M. in Dallas and a Shriner. A veteran of the United State Army having served in the Korean War, he had lived in Holly Lake Ranch for 22 years and was a member of the Methodist faith. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Joyce Kyle of Holly Lake Ranch; daughters and husband, Karen Kyle of Holly Lake Ranch and Kelley and David Mitchum of Dallas; son and wife, Rex and Kathy of Dallas; stepson, Johnny Umphress of Arlington; grandchildren, Brian Umphress, Jason Umphress, James Kyle Echols, Rex Kyle, Jr., Michael Kyle, Donnell "Trey" Mitchum, Whitney Williams, Kevin Williams, Taylor Williams and Nicholas Williams; great-grandson, Kalen Williams. Pallbearers will be James Kyle Echols, Taylor Williams, Johnny Umphress, Tim Ison, Michael Kyle and Trey Mitchum. Visitation will be from 12:30 p.m. until service time Wednesday, October 17, 2012 at Holly Tree Chapel in the Holly Lake Ranch Community.
