James Lee Green

Graveside service for James Lee Green, 49, of Mesquite, Texas will be held Saturday, May 30, 2020, at 2:00 P.M., at Hawkins City Cemetery with Bro. Ashley Sharkey officiating. James passed away Tuesday, May 26, 2020. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Saturday at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel.
James was born on December 15, 1970, in Garland, TX, to Bobby Ray Green and Sherri Granberry. He was a diehard sports fan, he especially loved watching the Dallas Cowboys. James also enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family. He was such a loving, giving, and generous person that always had a smile on his face.
James is survived by his mother, Sherri Granberry of Mesquite; his father’s wife, Cindi Green of Dallas; brothers, William Green of Terrell, Brandon Green of Dallas, and Gaylon Richards of Garland; sisters, Latisha Green of Caney City and Kelly Houghton and husband, Kellen of Rockwall; great nephew, Greyson Benton; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, and uncles.
He is preceded in death by his father, Bobby Ray Green and his grandparents.
