James Harold Jordan Gladewater " Services for James Harold Jordan, 88, of Gladewater will be held on Friday, December 24, 2010, at 10 A.M. at Croley Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Roger Gage officiating. Burial will be in Friendship Cemetery. Born on March 21, 1922, in Gladewater, Texas, he died on Wednesday, December 22, 2010. He was a farmer and a Baptist. He married Nadine Ellis on June 4, 1942, and together they shared 64 years. He is survived by 2 daughters and son-in-law, Laura Jordan of Las Vegas, Nevada, and Virginia and Reggie Ilgenfritz of Greenwood, Louisiana; 6 grandchildren, Jeff Osterling, Todd Osterling, Chad Evans, Michael Ilgenfritz, Teresa Wilson, and Leslie Scales; 13 great-grandchildren, Kalyn Osterling, Shayna Osterling, Cash Osterling, Kelsey Evans, Kaleigh Evans, Alli Evans, Katie Wilson, Joni Wilson, Emily Ilgenfritz, Sarah Ilgenfritz, Jason Scales, Andy Scales, and Anna Beth Scales; 1 great-great-grandchild, Kinley Collins; and 2 sisters, Janelle Adams of Gladewater and Mary Jean Burnett of Bedford, Texas. He was preceded in death by his parents, Samuel F. And Modest Miranda Jordan; wife, Nadine Jordan; and sister, Dorothy Sypert. The family would like to express their gratitude to Hospice of East Texas for their tender, loving care. A special thanks to Jackie and Robyn of Hospice of East Texas and also to his niece, Dorothy Lane Thompson. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 P.M. on Thursday, December 23, 2010, at Croley Funeral Home in Gladewater.
