Graveside services for James E. “Red” Robertson, 64, of Gilmer, Texas will be held at 2:00 P.M., on Tuesday, April 11, 2017 at Gladewater Memorial Park with Bro. Wade Mayberry officiating under the direction of Croley Funeral Home in Gilmer.

Mr. Robertson was born on September 27, 1952 in Wood County, Texas to Oscar Jackson Robertson and Imogene Carr Robertson and he passed away on April 6, 2017. He was an equipment operator for James Stringfella Logging for 22 years.

He is survived by his sons, Robert Robertson of San Antonio and James Robertson, Jr. of Tyler; brothers, Gary Robertson of Longview, William Jackie Robertson of Gilmer and Roger Robertson of Big Sandy; sisters, Linda Pierce of Big Sandy, Sandra Sharp of Big Sandy, Debbie Stracener, Sharon Palmer, Janis Cooper and Frances Drennan, all of Gilmer and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and family.

He was preceded in death by his parents, O.J. and Imogene Robertson; wife, Emily Robertson; brother, Tommy Robertson and sister, Mary Ann Brown.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, April 11, 2017 from 1:30 P.M. until the time of the service at Gladewater Memorial Park.
