James Clifford Stevenson, Jr.

Mr. James C. Stevenson, Jr, 82, of Holly Lake Ranch, TX passed away peacefully at his home on the morning of Sunday April 11, 2021. James was born in Dallas, TX September 30, 1938, to the late James Clifford Stevenson, Sr. and Sally Cecil Dees.

After graduating from W.W. Samuell High School in 1957, James served 6 years in the United States Navy. After serving his country, he became a self-employed landscape designer and loved creating and tending to his gardens.

James later married Carlene Farley in 2007 and is survived by his wife, Carlene Stevenson; step daughters, Debbi Steel and husband Rocky of Rockwall, and Misty Harris and husband Gary of Holly Lake Ranch; step sons, Terry Farley and wife Julie of Canton, Larry Farley and wife Terri of Heath, and Dennis Farley and wife Jill of Rockwall, sister, Billie Shaw of Dallas; niece, Sally Canto and husband Alex; great nephew, Thomas Canto; and numerous step grandchildren and step great grandchildren. James will be greatly missed by his family and friends that he leaves behind.

James is preceded in death by his parents, James, Sr. and Sally Stevenson.

A Private Celebration of Life for James will be held at a later date, in his beloved backyard at his Holly Lake Ranch residence.
