Isaac James Durham, Jr.

Services for Isaac J. Durham Jr., 78, of Gladewater will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 22, 2017, at the Croley Funeral Chapel with Brother Clifford Taylor officiating, interment will follow at Rosedale Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service ad Croley Funeral Home in Gladewater. Mr. Durham passed away Sunday, August 20, 2017, in Gladewater.

Mr. Durham was born January 2, 1939 in Rusk, Texas to the late Isaac James Durham, Sr. and Pearl Dorothy Adams. Ike’s life greatly changed, after a 23 year worldwide tour in the United States Army and then 18 years stateside with the Texas Justice System, he settles down for a life of easy living in the little town of Gladewater, with his beloved wife Jayne and enjoying his retirement. He will be dearly missed by all the loving family and friends he leaves behind.

Ike leaves behind the treasure of many beautiful memories, his adoring wife Jayne, children, stepchildren, he was one of ten siblings and leaves two brothers and one sister and numerous cherished friends.

He is preceded in death by his wife of 47 years Frances, an infant son and daughter, his parents and six siblings.
