Irma Ruth Cromley

Mrs. Irma Ruth Grimes Cromley, age 86, of Tyler, passed away on Tuesday, November 12, 2019 at Hospice of East Texas in Tyler, TX. Irma was born in Groesbeck, TX on March 17, 1933 to the late Alvor and Pansey (Polk) Grimes and married Fred Edward Cromley on September 17, 1950. Irma was a devoted homemaker and worked for the City of Hawkins water department and in the tax office, she was also a faithful member of the Woods Baptist Church in Tyler.

She is survived by her husband of 69 years, Fred Cromley; sons, Michael Cromley and wife, Cathy, and Robert Cromley and his wife, Denise; brother, Bobby Lee Grimes and wife Aleen; grandchildren, Colleen Cromley, Brent White and his wife, Crystal, and Zach White and his wife, Amanda; and great grandchildren, Ashlynn, Annsley, Conrad, and Sawyer White.

Funeral services for Mrs. Cromley will be held on Thursday, November 14, 2019 at 11:00 AM at Croley Funeral Home Chapel in Hawkins with Rev. Lon Graham officiating, interment to follow at Hawkins Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until 11:00 prior to the service on Thursday.
