Iris Margaret Ashley

Funeral services for Ms. Iris Ashley, 71, of Henderson was held 2:00 P.M, Monday, July 14, 2014, at Croley Funeral Home Chapel in Gilmer with Larry W. Osborne officiating. Interment will follow at New Bethlehem Cemetery. Ms. Ashley passed away on Wednesday, July 9, 2014 in Henderson. She was born on September 28, 1942, in Gilmer, Texas to Omar Otto and Beulah Margaret McGee Ashley. Ms. Ashley was an owner of a Hardware Store and a Baptist. She is survived by her son Kevin Brash of East Mountain; brothers, Jerry L. Ashley of Gilmer and John G. Ashley of Ore City; sisters, Muriel Hall of Gilmer, Nancy Nuner and Anne Parish both of Longview. Ms. Ashley was preceded in death by her parents; son, Gary Brash; brothers Roger and Dave Ashley; one sister, Marie Robertson.
