Irene Lange

Services for Irene Lange, 93, of Gladewater will be held Monday, September 22, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at Saint Theresa Catholic Church with Father Mark Dunne officiating. The services are under the direction of Croley Funeral Home in Gladewater, Texas. Irene passed on Thursday, September 18 in Longview, Texas. Mrs. Lange was born in Corbet, Texas (just outside of Corsicana) to Joseph and Elizabeth Kormos on August 22, 1921. She worked as a teller at the Savings and Loan and was member of Saint Theresa Catholic Church. Irene is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law: Eddie and Peggy Lange of Longview, Tommy and Carol Lange of Desoto, Dale and Connie Lange of Gladewater; brother, Frank Kormos of Richardson; sisters"in-law: Mary Francis Kormos and Katherine Kormos; grandchildren: Sarah, Jennifer, Andrew, John, Jonathan and wife Audrey and Jarrett and wife Kelsey Lange, Gracie Walmsley and Renee Grubbs; great grandchildren, Remington Lange and Madison Grubb as well as the extended Johnson family including Patty, Robert and Bernadette. Irene is preceded in death by her husband, Edward "Squeaky" Lange and her parents, Joseph Kormos and Elizabeth Gindelle Kormos. Rosary will be held at Croley Funeral Home, Gladewater on Sunday, September 21, 2014 at 6:00 p.m. with visitation following til 8:00 p.m. Her grandchildren will serve as pallbearers. In lieu of flowers please make donations to St. Theresa"s Lady"s Guild Scholarship Fund.
