Ineta Archer

Ineta (Puckett) Archer, 89, of Gilmer, passed away on January 2, 2025.  She was born on December 30, 1935, in Gilmer, TX to the late William "Bill" E. Puckett and Bessie (Ellis) Puckett.  Ineta married Lloyd H. Archer in Dallas on June 1, 1952.

Ineta worked as an executive secretary for Home Exteriors in Dallas where she helped many professionals and was the "go-to" person to help get things done.  She was a member of Brumley Baptist Church.  Ineta was a talented artist who enjoyed painting, ceramics and macramé.

She is survived by her sons, Lloyd Alan Archer and Robert W. Archer; and other family members including David and Karen Archer, Chris and Vanessa Kuykendall, Keith Ellis, Donald Ellis and Randy Ellis.  Ineta is preceded in death by her parents, Bill and Bessie Puckett and her beloved husband, Lloyd H. Archer.

Visitation and services for Mrs. Archer will be held at 1:00 pm  at the Country Church at Matinburg, followed by interment in the Matinburg Cemetery.
