Imogene R. Harrison

Funeral services for Mrs. Imogene Harrison, 89, of Gilmer, Texas will be held at 10:00 A.M., on Wednesday, April 19, 2017 at First United Methodist Church in Gilmer with Reverend Richard Laster officiating and Jenny Nolan Bailey presenting a tribute under the direction of Croley Funeral Home in Gilmer. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park in Gilmer.

Mrs. Harrison was born on August 15, 1927 in Upshur County, Texas to Arthur and Letcher Vessel Sweatman. She passed away on Saturday, April 15, 2017. Mrs. Harrison was a homemaker and a member of First United Methodist Church in Gilmer.

She is survived by her son, Nat Harrison and his wife Carla, of Gilmer; daughter, Nancy Hill and her husband Randy, of Gilmer; grandchildren, Bradley Hill and his wife Amber, Hunter Harrison and his wife Jenna, Tanner Harrison and great grandchildren, Elyssa Hill and Emberlynn Hill.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Harrison who passed away in 2012; brother, Ardell Sweatman and sister, Margie Lancaster.

Pallbearers for the service will be Bradley Hill, Hunter Harrison, Tanner Harrison, Richard “Dicky” Harrison, Danny Lancaster, Jimmy Lancaster, Benny Lancaster and Larry Lancaster.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, April 18, 2017 from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at Croley Funeral Home in Gilmer.
