Imogene Gunn

Funeral services for Imogene Gunn, 89, of Gilmer will be 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, October 18, 2011, at Rosewood Baptist Church with Bro. Charles Johnson officiating. Interment will be in the Rosewood Cemetery in Upshur County. Arrangements are by Croley Funeral Home in Gilmer. Mrs. Gunn passed away Friday, October 14, 2011, at a Tyler hospital. Mrs. Gunn was born March 17, 1922, in the Rosewood Community to Daniel and Lela McKinney Barnett. She was a homemaker and a lifetime member of the Rosewood Baptist Church. She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Larry Clem and Pam Gunn of Tulsa, Oklahoma and Darrell and Iris Gunn of Harlingen; Five granddaughters, Ronna, Stacy, Kayla, Chelsy and Christa and their extended families. Mrs. Gunn was preceded in death by her husband of 71 years, Ocie Clem Gunn in August 2010 and son, Alvin Eugene Gunn in 1966. Pallbearers will be the Deacons of Rosewood Baptist Church. Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Monday, October 17, 2011 at Croley Funeral Home in Gilmer.
