Graveside services for Howard Paul Carson, Jr., 72, of Gladewater will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday, January 17, 2015, at Perryville Cemetery in Upshur County, Texas with Ken Matthews and Ted Richardson officiating. Mr. Carson passed away on Wednesday, January 14, 2015 in Gladewater. Visitation will be on Friday, January, 16, 2015 at Croley Funeral Home. He was born April 21, 1942, in Port Arthur, Texas, to Howard Paul Carson, Sr. and Hazel Seagrist. Mr. Howard Paul Carson, Jr. served in the U. S. Army from 1962-1964 and was a self-employed machinist. He was a member of Christ Gospel Church. Mr. Carson, Jr., is survived by his wife, JoAnn Carson of Gladewater; son, David Carson and wife, Jill of Wichita Fall; daughters, Connie Harper and husband, Joe of Longview; Elizabeth Robinson of White Oak, Barbara Ann Mason and husband, Kyle of Longview; sister, Loretta Thomas of Houston; grandchildren, Clayton and Collin Henson, Hali Harper, Danielle and Charles Horn, IV, Jeremiah and Andrea Fosdick, Sandra Sand, Chase and Sara Robinson, Colton, Carson and Kameron Mason and three great grandchildren. He was also survived by Kyle and Dawn Henson of Perryville. He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Beverly Carson Henson and son, Timothy Carson.
