Homer Kountz Baird

Graveside services for Mr. Homer Baird, 76 will be held 2:00 P.M, Wednesday April 27, 2011, at Paron Cemetery in Wood County, Texas with Gordon McKinley officiating under the direction of Croley Funeral Home in Gilmer. Mr. Baird passed away on Monday, April 25, 2011 in Tyler. He was born November 1, 1934 in Gilmer, Texas, to William Thomas and Emma Lois Kountz Baird. Mr. Baird was self employed carpenter and a baptist. He is survived by his sons and daughters-in-law, Bill and Regina Baird of Mt. Vernon; Jim and Cathy Baird of Big Sandy; Kelly and Lynda Baird of Mt. Vernon; Barry and Jo Lynn Baird of Waxahachie; daughter and son-in-law, Jennifer and Jeff Bailey of Mt Vernon; 13 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his wife Janey Willis Baird.
