H. L. "Lynn" Bostick Gladewater " A private memorial service for H. L. "Lynn" Bostick, 70, of Gladewater, will be held at a later date. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Croley Funeral Home in Gladewater. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 P.M. on Friday, March 18, 2011, at Croley Funeral Home in Gladewater. After a five year battle with cancer, he passed away peacefully Tuesday, March 15, 2011, at Beacon Hospice with his family present. Born on January 18, 1941, to Tommie and Monroe Bostick, he was raised with his seven siblings in Spring Hill. He married Peggy Jones on May 30, 1959, and together they spent the next 52 years building a life full of love and precious memories. Lynn was a machinist by trade and utilized his skills in various manufacturing facilities before settling at Lebus Manufacturing where he retired after 30 years of service. He was an avid fisherman and a master craftsman. His memory will be cherished by his wife, Peggy Bostick; daughter, Rhonda Bostick; daughter and son-in-law, Tricia and Howard Hardy; daughter and son-in-law, Vickie and Joe Sexton; grandchildren, Tori Sexton, Michelle Whitten, Dalton Tankersley, and Tanner Tankersley; as well as step-grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brother and sister-in-law, Ray and Pearlie Bostick; sister and brother-in-law, Jean and Lewis Green; sister and brother-in-law, Kathy and Jim Nelson; sister, Ganelle Bleer; sister-in-law, Mary Bell; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Roger and Kathie Jones; numerous nieces and nephews; and several dedicated friends. He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Tommie and Monroe Bostick; brothers, Finley and Thomas Bostick; sister, Laura Rodgers; son-in-law, David Tankersley; and grandson, Chance Tankersley.
