Hiram Harold Harroff

Services for Hiram Harold Harroff, 71, of Gladewater, will be held on Wednesday, June 5, 2013, at 10 A.M. at Croley Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. J. Prentis McGee officiating. Burial will be in West Mountain Cemetery. Born on November 17, 1941, in Longview, Texas, he died on Monday, June 3, 2013. He was a veteran of the United States Navy. He was a retired employee of Steelman Electric Company where he was vice-president. He was an avid player of blue grass and country music from the old greats. He especially enjoyed golfing, fishing, hunting, camping, the Dallas Cowboys, and the Texas Rangers. He is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law, Shawn and Lisa Harroff of Palestine; Karl and Laura Harroff of Houston; and Jeremy and Crystal Roberts of Columbus, Ohio; two daughters and son-in-law, Molly and Roy Stephens of Alvin and Rebecca Harroff of Gladewater; 14 grandchildren, Zach, Danielle, Haley, Hunter, Jacob, Joseph, Jordan, Teagan, Denise, Karli, Holley, Ethan, Jackson, and Gavin ; one brother, Eddie Harroff of Arlington; and two sisters and brother-in-law, Jean Taylor of Gladewater and Glenna and Darryl Cossaart of North Carolina. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Croley Funeral Home in Gladewater.
