Hilda Aucoin Fuller

Hilda Aucoin Fuller, born April 22, 1933, in Shreveport, Louisiana, passed away on April 11, 2025, at the age of 91. She was the daughter of Hazel Powell and Desire Joseph Aucoin.

Hilda was a lifelong resident of Shreveport, Louisiana, before relocating to East Texas to be closer to her daughter and grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Willie Mack Fuller, with whom she shared 49 devoted years of marriage until his passing in 1994. Hilda was also preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Joe Aucoin; her sisters, Patsy Shaw, Nale Neach, and Pam Houston; her son-in-law, Ronald Jones; and her great-granddaughter, Hailey Grace.

She is survived by her daughter, Deborah Jones; her granddaughters and their spouses, Scott and Kimberly Loven, Lonnie and Carrie Henry, Jim and Katie Gentry; her great-grandchildren; and numerous other loved ones.

Hilda was a devoted wife, mother, aunt, and grandmother. She was known for her kind and nurturing spirit, her unwavering faith, and her deep love for her family. Her legacy of love, strength, and grace will live on through those who knew and loved her.

A graveside service for Mrs. Fuller will be held at Forest Park Cemetery in Shreveport, LA on Monday, April 14, 2025 at 3:00 pm.  There will be a visitation from 11:30-12:30 on Monday at Croley Funeral Home in Gilmer.
