Herbert Allison Money, Jr.

Services for Herbert Allison Money, Jr., 73, of Gladewater, will be held on Monday, December 24, 2012, at 10:00 A.M. at Croley Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Bruce Wells and Larry W. Osborne officiating. Burial will be in Rosedale Cemetery. Born on May 21, 1939, in Gladewater, Texas, to Herbert A. and Nona Money, he died on Friday, December 21, 2012, after a long illness. He married the love of his life, Patsy Money, and together they celebrated 52 years. He was a member of the Liberty City Baptist Church. He loved working the land on his tractor and visiting with family and friends. He retired from East Texas Salt Water after 38 years of service. He also retired from Croley Funeral Home, having served on the funeral staff for 13 years. Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Patsy Money of Gladewater; 3 sons and daughters-in-law, Pat and Lisa Money of Gilmer; Tim Money of Arlington; and Chris and Debra Money of Gladewater; mother-in-law, Mary P. Reynolds of Gladewater; sister and brother-in-law, Peggy and Bob Smith of Socorro, New Mexico; 7 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; nephews, cousins, and his beloved pet Rosie. The family would like to thank the staff of Beacon Hospice at Margaret"s House for taking such loving care of our loved one. No formal visitation is scheduled.
