Helene Kaczowka

Helene Kaczowka, 95, was called home to our Lord on August 10, 2024. She was born in Springfield, Massachusetts on June 17, 1929, beloved daughter of Hermengilde and Leda Labrecque. Helene spent most of her life as a homemaker in Massachusetts while raising her children before moving to Texas.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Lucien; her first husband of 40 years, Ferdinand Nieroda; and her second husband of 14 years, Thomas Kaczowka.
Helene is survived by her daughters, Theresa Jones and husband Russell of Dallas, Texas, along with their daughter Kathleen Jones; Christine Farrell and husband John of Westfield, along with their children John Paul Farrell and wife Meaghan, and Benjamin Farrell; Elaine Laporte of Holyoke, along with her children Karen Elkareh, Karen’s son Logan, and David Laporte; and Thomas’s daughter, Jane Lemanski and husband Zeke along with their children Tracy A. Janik and husband Gregory, along with their son Kaleb and Jennifer L. Sousa her husband Jeffrey along with their children Abel and Emma.
Funeral services for Helene will be held on August 21 at Colonial Forastiere Funeral Home beginning at 10 am. Interment to follow at Veterans Cemetery in Agawam.
