Gladewater– Funeral services for Mrs. Helen M. Servis, 61, of Gladewater, Texas will be held at 10:00 A.M, Monday, March 6, 2017 at Croley Funeral Home Chapel in Gladewater with Bro. Ray Vaughn officiating. Interment will follow at Starville Cemetery in Gladewater.
Helen passed away on Thursday, March 2, 2017 in Tyler and was born on April 1, 1955 in Houston, Texas to Charles “Cuz” Wallace and Lovie Mae Lambert Wallace. Mrs. Servis was a retired seamstress from Honeytoggs and of the Baptist faith.
She is survived by her step-son and his wife, Daniel Servis and Bobette of Longview; brothers James Wallace and wife, Faye of Gladewater, Jerry Wallace and wife, Connie of Winona; sisters-in-law, Janis Wallace and Drueann Gottschalk; grandchildren, Jennie Michelle Mckay and Jordan Rene McKay; great grandchildren, Peyton Gibson and Bentley McKay; also numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband,Ronald Paul Servis; parents; son, George Wilbur McKay III; brothers, Charles V. Wallace and Charles Niel Gottschalk; sisters, Charlene Shaddox and Lovie Sue Vaugn.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, March 5, 2017 from 6:00P.M. to 8:00P.M. at Croley Funeral Home in Gladewater.
