Helen Loretta White

Funeral service for Mrs. Helen Loretta White 88, of Longview, will be held Saturday, May 19, 2018, 10:00 AM at Croley Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Thomas Ayres and Mr. Joe McGraw officiating. Interment will be held at Rosewood Cemetery following the service. Mrs. White passed away Wednesday, May 16, 2018 in Longview.
Helen was born in the Rosewood community on December 12, 1929 to the late Rev. and Mrs. Homer L. Petty. Also preceding in death was her brother, Estle Lee Petty and his wife Nellie.
Survivors include her son, Stephen and his wife Leta; and grandson David and his wife Hillary; nephews, Jerry and Ronnie Petty; and several cousins. Also surviving are special friends, Charles and Sheryl Gilmore.
Mrs. White was a charter member of Ware Acres Baptist Church, now Camille Acres Baptist Church. The most important things in her life was family and church. She was employed at Dillard’s and Bealls in the Longview Mall for 21 years.
The family will receive friends at Croley Funeral Home in Gilmer on Friday, May 18, 2018 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the building fund of Camille Acres Baptist Church, 2920 Gilmer Road Longview, TX 75604.
