Helen Clark Brown

Funeral services for Helen Clark Brown, 79, of Hawkins, will be held 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 17, 2018 at New Zion Baptist Church, with Pastor Mark Wofford officiating, interment will follow at Beaver Cemetery under the direction of Croley Funeral Home in Hawkins. Mrs. Brown passed away Sunday, February 11, 2018, in Tyler.

Mrs. Brown was born on November 7, 1938 in Hawkins, Texas to the late Willie Clark and Truela Lott. Helen worked for Levi Strauss Clothing Company as a seamstress for many years before retirement. She enjoyed playing bingo and spending time with family and friends. Mrs. Brown was a member of the New Zion Baptist Church in Hawkins. She will be remembered as a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and homemaker.

She is survived by her two sons Larry Brown and Bruce Clark; daughter Beulah Brown; three sisters; two brothers; seven grandchildren; seven great grandchildren as well as many other loving family and friends.

Helen is preceded in death by her parents, two sisters and two brothers.
