Services for Mrs. Hazel Sizemore, 80, of Gilmer will be held at 10 A.M. Friday, August 31, 2012, at Croley Funeral Home Chapel in Gilmer with Rev. Wayne Norvell officiating with burial to follow at Sunset Memorial Park. Mrs. Sizemore went to be with her Heavenly Father with her family at her side on Tuesday, August 28, 2012 at her home in Gilmer. Hazel was born March 19, 1932, in Rosebud, Texas to William Ted and Lena Cox Moore. She worked side by side with her husband in his many business ventures. She worked in retail for many years having worked at and owned JP"s dress shop in Gilmer. Hazel was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She loved reading, gardening and most of all spending precious time with her grandchildren. She will be dearly missed but will be carried in our hearts forever. She is survived by her three daughters and sons-in-law, Cynthia R. Sizemore of Gilmer, Dana and Mark Hall of Gilmer, Lisa and Mike Taylor of Sherman; sister, Billie Jean Ray of Grand Prairie; two grandchildren, Chayce Bickerdike of Hayward, Ca. and Laura Hall of Springfield, Missouri and a number of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Ed Sizemore. The family will receive friends from 6-8 P.M., Thursday evening at Croley Funeral Home in Gilmer. The family requests memorials may be sent to the Ed and Hazel Sizemore Memorial Endowed Scholarship in Aeronautical Science @ Letourneau University, 2100 S. Mobberly Ave., Longview, Texas 75602.
