Harry John Hlad

Services for Harry John Hlad, 81, of Gladewater, Texas will be Monday, June 16, 2016 at 2:00 pm at Croley Funeral Home Chapel in Gladewater, Texas. Harry passed away Friday, June 13, 2014 in Gladewater, Texas. Mr. Hlad was born in Lucas, Kansas to John and Elise Hlad on August 27, 1932. He was a member of the Air Force and served in Korea working as an airplane mechanic before retiring from military service. He then was employed as a truck driver for Superior Homes. He and his wife Marie were residents of Gladewater and members of the Baptist faith. Harry enjoyed camping and traveling. Harry is survived by his son Harry David Hlad of Hallsville; daughters: Sally Jane Crocker of Kilgore, Susan Farmer and husband Jon of Tyler, Mary Ann Reppond and husband Allen of Gladewater, one sister and several grandchildren: Jason Farmer, Justin Farmer, Joey Farmer, Jessica Farmer, Bradley Allen Reppond, Christina Marie Reppond; and great grandchildren: Joshua Tucker, Savannah Tucker, Sara Farmer, Tegan Farmer and Elisha Reppond. Preceding Harry in death are his parent John and Elise Hlad, wife Marie Hlad, daughter Gabriel, and brother Albert Hlad.
