Harold Weidman

Services for Harold Weidman, 85, of Gladewater, will be held on Saturday, February 22, 2014, at 2:30 P.M. at Clarksville City Baptist Church with Reverend Roger Gage officiating. Burial with military honors will be held at Lakeview Memorial Gardens in Longview. Born on March 7, 1928, in McGregor, Texas, he died on Wednesday, February 19, 2014. He was retired from the United States Navy. He is survived by his wife, Joanne Weidman of Clarksville City; tow sons, David Shobe and Michael Shobe, both of San Antonio; one daughter, Patricia Utz of San Antonio; 13 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one son, Carl Shobe, and one daughter, Nancy Taylor. If so desired, memorials may be made to the Clarksville City Baptist Church or to the charity of your choice. Family visitation will be from 1:30 P.M. to service time on Saturday, February 22, 2014, at Clarksville City Baptist Church.
