Harold Clark

Harold "Hodge" Clark of Gilmer Texas, 88, passed away on July 19, 2024.

Hodge Clark was born on November 19, 1935 in Winnsboro, TX, to Lewis Clark and Novelle Shoemaker. He was a graduate from Winnsboro High School and went on to enlist in the Army where he served 3 years. Hodge married Sandra Clark in 1958. He worked most of his adult life as a welder/fitter. He enjoyed fiishing, hunting, riding horses, camping anything to do with the great outdoors.

Hodge is survived by his sons, Shannon (Tina) Clark, of Longview, Dana (Candy) Clark, of Mineola, Hodie Clark, of New York. Daughter, Lisa (Ricky) Bussey, of Gilmer. Grandchildren, Amber (Jay) Henderickson of Covington, their children, Ty, Tanner and Hannah. J.D. Clark of Washington D.C. Autumn (Steven) Horne of Sherman, their children, Castyn, Kian and KJ. Heath (Rebecca) Clark of Weatherford, their children, Adalea, Tobyn and Eisley. True Clark of Searcy AR. Amy (John) Ainsworth of Hallsville, thier children, Dylan, Jaycie and Abbie. Julie (Chris) Garrett of Lindale, their children, Ella and Lanie. Staci (Adam) Wright of Winnsboro, their children, Landri, Harper and Carter. Sister Nancy (Larry) Kirk of Magnolia, AK.

Hodge is preceded in death by his wife, Sandra Clark, Father and Mother, Lewis & Novelle Clark, Brothers, Jerry Clark and Jackie Clark, and Sister Joyce McClendon.

Services for Hodge Clark will be held on Sunday, July 28th 2024 at Open Range Cowboy Church, Gilmer Texas with visitation starting at 2:30PM with memorial service to follow at 3:00PM.

In lieu of flowers, the family requested donations be made to Heart to Heart Hospice in Longview, Texas.
