Harlin Joe Schenck, Jr.

Mr. Harlin “Joe” Schenck of Longview was born on September 28, 1951 to Harlin “Joe” Schenck, Sr. and Dollie Evans.
He later moved to Houston and went to school there. He was a truck driver for many years. He loved surfing and fishing, he especially enjoyed fishing with his brother and telling fishing stories. He was a very fun, loving person that never met a stranger. He would do anything for anyone.
He was married and had one son who preceded him in death. He is also preceded in death by his father and step-father, Richard Evans. Joe is survived by his mother, his nephews and nieces, great nephews, as well as his half-brother and sisters.
Graveside service will be held on Thursday, August 20, 2020 at West Mountain Cemetery beginning at 10:00 AM.
His suffering has finally ended. He fought the good fight and now he’s at peace with the Lord.
