Graveside services for Hall W. Cavel, 81, of Gladewater, will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, October 13, 2010, at New White Oak Cemetery, with Bro. Roger Gage and Bro. Greg Selman officiating. Arrangements are by Croley Funeral Home in Gladewater. Born June 14, 1929, in Fox, Oklahoma, to Charley and Mattie Cavel, he died Saturday, October 9, 2010. He was a deacon and member of Clarksville City Baptist Church. He is survived by four sons and daughters-in-law, Richard and Maggie Cavel of New Diana, Jerry and Becky Cavel, Jimmy and Kellie Cavel and Michael and Dana Cavel, all of White Oak; two daughters and sons-in-law, Susan and Ernie Neves of Burnett and Cindy and Carroll Fomby of White Oak; 20 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and one sister and brother-in-law, Deb and Tony Greant of Canada. He was preceded in death by his wife, Deloris June Cavel; brother, Harrell Cavel; and sister, Ruby O'Connor. No formal visitation is scheduled.
