Gwendolyn Marie Tuel

Memorial services for Mrs. Gwendolyn Tuel, 85, of Gilmer will be held 2:00 P.M., Saturday, March 30, 2019, at Little Mound Baptist Church in Upshur County with Bro. Charles Johnson and Bro. Mike Phillips officiating under the direction of Croley Funeral Home in Gilmer.

Mrs. Tuel passed away on Monday, March 18, 2019 in Gilmer. She was born on November 5, 1933 in the Little Mound Community, Upshur County, TX to Derie Vaughan and Joyce Johnson. Mrs. Tuel was a lifetime member of Little Mound Baptist Church joining in 1945 and played the piano for 67 years. She was musically inclined, attended the Stamps School of Music and was a member of the Harmonettes.

Mrs. Tuel is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Dava Denise and Jimmy Greak of Holly Lake Ranch; four grandchildren, Michael Brown, Patrick Greak, Derek Tuel and Dr. Robin Stephenson and five great grandchildren.
