Grant Owen Morton

Services for Grant Owen Morton will be held at First Baptist Church in Gladewater, Texas, on Wednesday, September 2, 2015, at 10:00 a.m. with Reverend Rufus Thorn officiating. Interment will follow in New White Oak Cemetery. Grant passed from the hearts of his parents to the arms of his Savior on August 29, 2015. Grant was the son of Scott Michael and Brandi Lee Morton of Longview, Texas. He had two older sisters, Rebekah and Ella Morton; and loving grandparents, Charles and Lou Anne Morton of White Oak, and Buddy and Mary Jo Berryman of Gladewater. He is survived by his parents, siblings, grandparents; aunt, Susan and uncle, David Donley, and uncle Christopher Morton; cousins, Devan, Caden and Ashlyn Donley. Grant was preceded in death by his grandmother, Wilma Berryman. The family would like to thank their extended family, which includes White Oak ISD and Austin Bank. In addition, they would also like to thank the staff at Longview Regional Hospital, with special recognition for Dr. Theresa Martin and nurses, Lindy and Haley.
